Win Over 49ers Helps Get Us On A Roll 

We had a good win against the 49ers on Sunday. The offense, the defense and the special teams stepped up against a team that played hard and had designs on coming into our house and taking a win from us.

Defensively, we put them in a position where they had some pressure when they threw the football and we responded by taking the ball away. It was exactly what we wanted to do. I lined up a lot at the line of scrimmage to give the appearance of either blitzing or stuffing the line, so that if the 49ers gave the ball to running back Frank Gore I was right there. If they dumped the ball off, I was right there, too.

It was a good game plan that we executed. I definitely feel like we have some momentum going now. We have to keep it up this week against a good Minnesota team. The Vikings run the football very well with Adrian Peterson, and we have to be physical and run to the football. We have to tackle well, because Peterson is a great player and he can go to the house with the ball every time he has it.

At the quarter point in the season, I think we are in pretty good shape. We're in a highly-competitive division, so we have to be at our best every week. We have to take care of our business and stay fcused and go out there and play the kind of ball that we know we can play.

It's been fun so far. I love the team and I love the winning. I'm excited to keep it going.
