Q) What was your body size in high school (height, weight) and what were your major lift maxs your senior year?

 --Carlton Watson, Alexandria, VA

A) In high school, I was 6-feet, 205 pounds. I could squat 500 pounds, my power clean was 315 pounds and I could bench press 315 pounds.

Q) Jon, thanks for the great job you have done with the J-E-T-S. I was very encouraged to hear that you and Kerry Rhodes have been studying film together. I'm very impressed with his play this year. How is Kerry as a teammate, and what are the qualities that you think have translated so well to his play on the field?

 --Darrell Brundage, Webster, NY

A) I think Kerry is a great teammate. He works hard and he works within the framework of the team. In my opinion, the sky is the limit for Kerry. I've noticed a big difference in him mentally. He is anticipating plays well and he's breaking on the ball a lot more quickly.

Q) JV, My Name is Justin Kaylor. Thats how i knew you went to WEST LAB!!!! Roger Pollard, Adam Sykes, Me, You, Alex McGriff, we used to all hang out when we were younger! You have done real good, Jon. I have followed your career from THE U to the Jets! Hit me back sometime. I talk to Roger every now and then and just recently got back in touch with Adam and Alex..

 --Justin Kaylor, Cashiers, NC

A) It's great to hear from you! Thanks for reaching out. Me and Rog stay in touch, and, hey, I won't ever forget those times. Stay in touch.

Q) How do you make time for family and friends with such a hectic schedule, how do you prioritize?

 --Charissa Lawrence, Boston, MA

A) It's not easy. I prioritize it by putting aside time to call my mom, call my dad, call my sisters. You try to leave out the things that aren't important, that don't pertain to family and football. I put that stuff aside until I know I have the time. Family and football come first.

Q) Hey Jon, I am a really big fan of yours, and I used to play Middle Linebacker just like you. Sadly I lost that job to another kid on my team. Do you have any advice for me to help earn my job back? Thanks a bunch. Sincerely your #1 fan, Josh

 --josh elkin, shirley, NY

A) Don't get down! Keep working hard. When you are in the huddle, take charge. Be a vocal guy and just hit, hit, hit. Keep hitting. Keep working hard. Good things will happen if you maintain the right attitude.

Q) How good are you on Madden 07? And do u have a myspace

 --Jordan Gray, Lawton, OK

A) I don't play Madden གྷ. I'm not very good at video games.

Q) When you were in high school were you one of the best linebackers in your league or did you totally take people by surprise when you got to college.

 --Matthew LaPointe, Schenectady, NY

A) I was one of the more highly-ranked players in the state, so I don't think I would say that I took people by surprise going from high school to college. I would say that I shocked the world in college by how I played, though. That's how I look at it. I advanced my game a lot in college.

Q) I think you are a fantastic player and I look forward every week watching you. Do you have a favorite team you like to play against and why?

--Wendy McNamee, George Grand Cayman, AK

A) I like when we play against teams that have players who I went to the University of Miami with. We play the Texans this week, and they have Andre Johnson. I'm looking forward to seeing him. Guys like Vince Wilfork in New England, Willis McGahee in Buffalo, players like that.
